Chocolate Bites Recipe
Chocolate Bites Recipe In my house we are very sweet, but VERY ehhh! My two grandmothers loved sweets! I have memories of either of the two, always enjoying sweet things and desserts. Thing that was passed down from generation to generation, without a doubt! Mom for example, could never refuse the invitation to eat something delicious at any time haha and there is not a Sunday when we do not think about what delight to make for dessert. I think that is why I dedicated myself to pastry, it is in my blood!

I tell you that for a few years now I have been making these chocolate and dried fruit snacks, which are a mix between the classic custard, and a little chocolate. They are very easy to make, and it is the ideal dessert or snack for the after dinner. It is also an ideal gift to make at this time, because in addition to being rich, they are super cute presented in a box or tin.
What I have to recommend, before you ask me “can X be substituted for …” no, nothing in this recipe can be substituted! It has two fundamental ingredients for it to come out: CONDENSED MILK and CHOCOLATE BAR (not powdered), so respect those ingredients! Then what goes above if it can vary, or they may not even put any type of nuts that are still Deli!
Another recommendation is to use a GOOD chocolate, of good quality. When the preparations have so few ingredients, these must be yes or yes of good quality so that it is noticeable both in flavor and texture! (I used white and semi bitter Belcolade chocolate!)
Enjoy them! And if they do, do they tell me?
Ingredients (for about 30-36 squares):
For the white chocolate:
1 can of condensed milk (395 grs)
350 gs of good quality white chocolate, in coins or minced (use a rich white chocolate, which is not simile, and which contains cocoa butter within its ingredients, which is what gives the classic flavor to white chocolate) .
1 teaspoon vanilla
100 grams of peeled and toasted pistachios
100 grams of blueberry raisins
Pinch of Himalayan Salt or other salt of the style (Maldon for example)
For the semi-bitter chocolate:
1 can of condensed milk (395 grs)
300 gs of good quality semi-bitter chocolate (other than simile chocolate), in coins or minced.
1 teaspoon vanilla
100 grams of toasted almonds
100 grams of blueberry raisins
Pinch of Himalayan Salt or other salt of the style (Maldon for example)

* If you do not want to put nuts, you can eat them alone or add pieces of chocolate in bars, minced oreos, colored sprinkles (which at this time can be Christmas), or whatever you like the most!
Procedure (it is the same procedure for either version, white chocolate or semi-bitter chocolate):
Grease a mold of approx. 20 x 20cm and line with parchment paper so that it is easy to unmold once soon (you can place it directly without paper but it will not be so neat when cutting).

In a microwave-safe bowl, place the chopped or coin chocolate and the condensed milk.
Microwave for about 3 minutes at maximum power, but BEWARE! every 30 seconds they take out of the micro and stir well (each time), otherwise they can burn easily!
When it is smooth and creamy and you see that the chocolate is completely melted, add the vanilla and stir well. Do not delay in this step as it hardens quickly.
Place the nuts on top and press gently with your hands so that the nuts are introduced into the mixture and then do not come off when cutting. Sprinkle little salt. If you can put the salt, do it as it gives a perfect salty touch and complements perfectly with the sweetness of the snack.

Refrigerate for a minimum of 2-3 hours or overnight.
Remove from the refrigerator, remove the mixture from the mold by lifting the edges of the paper (if you did not use paper, cut inside the mold directly and remove carefully) and remove the paper.
Cut with a sharp blade into squares of approx. 3 x 3cm.
I recommend that they are not very large pieces since it is a fairly sweet preparation. Ready, very easy and very yyyy rich!
Look how cute they look like this, wrapped to give away!

And the semi dark chocolate version is to die for!
They last approx. two weeks in the fridge (I doubt they won’t finish it sooner!) or they can also do it and freeze it in an airtight container for 2-3 months.
