Tiramisu birthday cake

Tiramisu birthday cake, We did not invent it in Spain nor is it a Christmas dessert, in fact, this tiramisu recipe that I propose today is not even the most orthodox, because to make the preparation easier we are going to dispense with the use of raw egg which is something that, Although it does not pose a difficulty in itself, it does require paying a little more attention when making this dessert.

Preparing an authentic Italian tiramisu has no difficulty, except to read the recipe correctly and follow the steps to the letter, even so, you can also prepare this version of easy tiramisu without egg in five minutes , but equally delicious, which it will allow the most novice bakers to cook it with much more relaxation.

Cómo preparar la receta de tiramisú fácil para los que nunca han hecho tiramisú

Tiramisu recipe original

    Mascarpone cheese, 250 g

Duros soletilla sponge cakes, 9 units

Agave syrup, 1 tablespoon (or your preferred sweetener)

    Espresso, 1 cup

Pure cocoa powder without sugar, quantity required

Amaretto liqueur, optional and only if there are no children

A good trick for this easy egg-free tiramisu in five minutes is to serve it in individual cups, so we don’t have to fight to get a nice cut when it comes to serving it and we can even have it fresh. Take note of this if you don’t have too long to wait for it to set in the fridge.

As for sugar, I have been preparing tiramisu with agave syrup for many years. Being a very powerful sweetener we can use much less quantity and those calories that we save. But you can use the sweetener you want and try the cream until it has the sweetness point that you like or that you know you like in your environment.

Step 1

In a bowl we mix the mascarpone cheese with the agave syrup. In another bowl or cup we have the coffee on hand, preferably made with an espresso machine, mixed with the amaretto if we have decided to add a touch of liquor or the coffee only if our tiramisu is abstemious.

Step 2

We chop the soletilla cakes a little, soak half in the coffee and distribute them covering the bottom of the source or the glasses in which we will serve our tiramisu.

Step 3

Spread half of the mascarpone cream over the coffee soaked soletillas and sprinkle with the unsweetened cocoa powder.

Step 4

We repeat the two previous steps, soaking the rest of the soletillas in the coffee, distributing them over the previous layers, on top, we distribute the rest of the mascarpone cream and finish by sprinkling with unsweetened cocoa powder.

Step 5

Cover with plastic wrap and store our tiramisu in the fridge until serving time.

Some ingredients that we can substitute.

If you can’t find mascarpone cheese, you can mix 250 g of heavy cream – the kind used for whipping – with a couple of tablespoons of lemon juice and let it rest until the cream sets. You can also use a neutral-flavored cream cheese, an option that I recommend if you suffer from lactose intolerance and cannot find lactose-free mascarpone. You can also substitute part of the mascarpone for some other ingredient such as soft nougat, cocoa cream, etc.

(II) The authentic tiramisu is made with cookies called savoiardi , which are what we know here as sponge cakes , but those that are hard and covered in sugar.

(III) Or three tablespoons of sugar or the sweetener or sweetener that you deem appropriate.

(IV) If you have used the correct cookies, you do not need to put sugar in the coffee . If you want to make a version for children, use decaffeinated coffee or a cup of soluble cereals dissolved in warm water or milk.

(V) If you don’t have unsweetened cocoa powder , you can grate some dark chocolate on top. You can also change it for something else, such as ground cinnamon. You will have a very rich dessert, although the memory of the tiramisu will be more distant. What I do not recommend is that you use a product such as Cola Cao, because they are a mixture of cocoa with more things, including sugar, and you run the risk of having an excessively sweet dessert.
