Ingredients to cook
Earl grey scones:
– 185 g butter at room temperature
– 75 g of icing sugar
– 1 tablespoon of sugar
– 225 g of flour
– 1 egg white
– 2 Earl Gray tea bags
– 1 vanilla bean or half a teaspoon of vanilla powder
Elaboration for the recipe Earl grey scones
Preheat the oven to 180ºC and line the plates with greaseproof paper.
Shake the butter with the sugar and vanilla, add the egg white and mix. Incorporate the flour and tea. Knead until you get a homogeneous paste.
Roll out on the flour-dusted countertop and cut with cutters.
They place the cookies on the plates leaving a little gap between them.
Bake for about 15 minutes.
